Tammy Membreno is the Executive Director of Barrio Action, which serves Northeast L.A. from its 22,000 square foot Youth and Family Center in El Sereno. Barrio Action provides youth and their families with sports and recreation, counseling, educational support and the College Bridge Academy. Tammy assumed leadership of Barrio Action more than 20 years ago from its founder, has grown the organization enormously during that time, and is known as a skilled collaborator with other organizations.
