How do I begin an application?

If you've applied before, login from the home page with your username and password. If it's your first time applying online, click on the register link from the home page to create a new account, and then you'll be directed to the application.

What does an application consist of?

1) Contact and event info
2) Budget
3) Personal narrative
4) Resume
5) Host letter

Can my username be the same as my email address?

Yes.

I’m having trouble viewing the application. Do I need a specific browser?

The site requires JavaScript and cookies. It should be compatible with IE 6+ and Firefox 1+.

My resume or host confirmation won’t upload. What’s the problem?

Currently, the only accepted formats are Word files, PDF, and RTF. You’ll have to save your resume/host confirmation as one of those file types. Also, make sure your files have the respective .doc, .pdf, .rtf ending.

I do not have an electronic copy of my host confirmation. How do I submit the hard-copy?

You can submit it by email to admin@durfee.org or by fax to (310) 899-5121. You must submit it by the application deadline.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Go to the home page and click on the "Forgot your username or password" link. You will be prompted to enter your email address. Your password will be sent to your email address. You may also contact us to retrieve your password.

How do I submit my application?

Until you complete all fields in the application, you will only be able to save your application. Once ALL the fields have been completed, click save, and then a "SUBMIT" option will appear on the application. Make sure to indicate that you are "not a full-time student" and "over 18 years of age" are checked.

Can I save my application and come back to it later?

Yes. Simply click the “save” button at the bottom of the application. You’ll see a confirmation that your application has been saved, and you may return to it at anytime before the application deadline.

The items in my budget do not all fit on the application. What do I do?

In that situation, you may submit your budget separately. You can email it to admin@durfee.org or fax it to (310) 899-5121.

When is the latest I can submit my application?

Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM (Pacific Standard Time) of the deadline date.

I created an account to apply for a previous round. Now I’m applying for this current round. Do I need to create a new account?

No. You can use the same account to apply for all ARC rounds. Simply enter your account name and password when applying for any round.

I submitted my application, but the application deadline hasn't passed yet. Can I go back and edit my application and re-submit it?

Once you submit an application, regardless of before of on the application deadline, you cannot go back and change it.
