GENERAL FAQsHow do I apply for funding from the Durfee Foundation?The Durfee Foundation provides funding through various programs, with most grants targeted to individuals. The programs that are open to applications are ARC (Artist's Resource for Completion), Master Musician Fellowship, Sabbatical and the Stanton Fellowship. I work for an organization that is not in Los Angeles County. Can we apply for funding?No. Because of the relatively low level of institutional funding available in the Los Angeles area, and due to the Durfee Foundation's historic ties to the region, the foundation limits its funding in its application programs to the Los Angeles area. Does the Durfee Foundation fund internationally?No, we do not fund internationally and we do not accept inquiries from overseas applicants. Does the Durfee Foundation provide scholarships or student financial aid?No, the foundation is not a source of funding in these areas. I am an artist living in Los Angeles, and I hear that the Durfee Foundation provides arts funding. How can I apply?If you are eligible, you may apply for the ARC (Artists' Resource for Completion) grant. Please see the ARC program page for guidelines and an application form. If you are a musician, see if you are eligible for the Master Musician Fellowship program. It doesn't look as though the Durfee Foundation will be able to provide funding for my organization.
