The goals of the Stanton Fellowship are:

• To enable Los Angeles leaders to tease out and test solutions to intractable problems in their field, for the improvement of the quality of life in Los Angeles
• To foster cross-disciplinary fertilization of ideas and resources among Los Angeles leaders
• To provide administrative release time for intellectual stimulation and professional inquiry to creative thinkers in Los Angeles
