Prior to attending college, Chris graduated from an individualized independent study program called “Horizon” in the Desert Sands Unified School District. He attended community college at College of the Desert before transferring to a private university in Redlands, CA.   He received his B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Redlands in 2008. As a part of his degree he participated in archaeological field work and relations building with the Hopi cultural preservation office in Northeastern Arizona. It was at this point that Chris decided he didn’t want to spend his life digging holes with toothbrushes. Chris has since worked as a delivery man, construction worker, and warehouse manager. He now hopes to apply his life experience to the world of philanthropy.
