Abby Leibman is the Founder and former Executive Director of the California Women’s Law Center (CWLC), a statewide policy and support organization focused on women’s rights. The Center specializes in issues of sex discrimination, violence against women, family law, childcare, and reproductive rights. In addition to protecting and advancing the law as it relates to women and girls, CWLC provides public education, community organizing, technical assistance, and advocacy for underserved populations of women whose legal needs are often unmet. A graduate of the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), Abby was recognized in 1998 as one of California’s 100 most influential attorneys by the Los Angeles Daily Journal.
