Bill Watanabe is the former Executive Director of the Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC), a nonprofit organization that provides a comprehensive array of social welfare and community development services. LTSC supports low-income Angelenos, promotes community revitalization and cultural preservation in Little Tokyo and among the broader Japanese community in the Southland, and serves the broader Japanese American and Asian Pacific Islander communities. Bill’s extensive record of community service also includes board leadership roles with the Little Tokyo Improvement District, the Asian Pacific Community Fund of Southern California, and the LA Tofu Festival. He also spearheaded the development of the Union Center for the Arts in the Little Tokyo neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles.
