Cynthia Sanchez is the Executive Director of Proyecto Pastoral, a community building organization that empowers the Boyle Heights community through education, leadership and service. Cynthia leads a team of 70 staff to implement early education & youth development programs, homeless shelters, community organizing, and the collaborative of Promesa Boyle Heights. Proyecto involves residents in the planning, design and implementation of its initiatives and serves as a model for similar communities of social transformation.
