Nancy Steele is the former Executive Director of the Council for Watershed Health, the Los Angeles region’s trusted hub for watershed research and analysis. The Council is uniquely able to influence and inform policy through convening forums and conducting applied research that is reliably fair, objective, and rooted in science. With a legacy of facilitation and collaboration, the organization effectively connects diverse perspectives to address timely issues. For her Stanton Fellowship, Nancy developed a robust assessment and reporting system that measures, values, and tracks progress towards healthy watersheds and sustainable urban water resources for the Los Angeles area.
* Nancy transitioned out of her role at the Council in 2015.
