Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural transforms Northeast San Fernando Valley and beyond through ancestral knowledge, the arts, literacy, and creative engagement. Tia Chucha’s programs are free or low-cost, bilingual, and intergenerational, including mural painting, music, dance, writing, visual arts, healing arts, and talking circles. The center is also home to a bookstore with culturally diverse and relevant books, literary events, and press, and the only outdoor literacy festival for the greater San Fernando Valley.
