Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural transforms the Northeast San Fernando Valley and beyond by fostering ancestral knowledge, the arts, literacy, and creative engagement. Tia Chucha’s free or low-cost bilingual and intergenerational programs include mural painting, music, dance, writing, visual arts, healing arts, and talking circles. The center is also home to a bookstore that offers culturally diverse and relevant books, hosts literary and press events, and serves as the home of their annual Celebrating Words Art and Literacy Festival.
