Wendy Lazarus is the Co-Founder and former Co-President of The Children’s Partnership, a Los Angeles-based advocacy organization that works to improve children’s health, educational achievements, and economic opportunities through effective use of the Internet and other technology tools. In her inquiry, she investigated and tested how virtual currency (forms of currency used to buy online tools for social networking sites and games) can be tapped to support nonprofit organizations and the needs of underserved children.
