Los Angeles Wilderness Training’s mission is to provide Los Angeles youth workers with professional training and outdoor equipment so that they, and the youth they serve, can explore the power and beauty of California’s wilderness.
LAWT trains adults who work with youth how to lead their kids on camping and backpacking trips. The organization offers frontcountry and wilderness leadership training programs, and maintains an extensive lending library of outdoor gear such as tents, backpacks, boots and outerwear.
