Madeline Janis is the Co-Founder and former Executive Director of the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy (LAANE), a nationally-recognized organization that serves as an authority on issues affecting the working poor and an innovator in the fight against poverty. In addition to her work at LAANE, she has served as a volunteer commissioner on the board of the Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles, the largest agency of its kind in the country. Madeline is also a Senior Fellow at the UCLA School of Public Affairs.
