Cynthia Campoy Brophy is the founder and Executive Director of artworxLA, formerly, The HeArt Project. The organization combats the high school dropout crisis through the arts, and since its inception in 1992 has grown to bring its yearlong arts education program to 25 continuation high schools throughout LA County. Prior to founding The HeArt Project, Cynthia was on the staff of The Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A.
