Operation Jump Start offers academic support and mentorship to low resourced, high-potential first-generation students so that they can get in, stay in and graduate from a four-year college. By creating a chance at a college education, Operation Jump Start offers a path out of poverty for first-generation students of Long Beach, California so that they may not only succeed academically, but also in life.
