Creative Acts is a Black-founded, primarily “Global Majority” organization that uses the arts and its innovative virtual reality program to reframe justice and healing within carceral systems and the communities that formerly incarcerated individuals return to. With decades of experience inside America’s prisons, they center the voices of incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, and systems-impacted people to build equitable, sustainable transformation beyond policing and incarceration.
