Justice for My Sister trains women of color, nonbinary youth, and foster youth to make films through a healing-centered, trauma-informed lens. Founded in 2011, the organization’s programs include video diaries, a BIPOC Sci-Fi Screenwriting Lab, and job placement partnerships. Their goal is to heal trauma, combat gender-based violence, and open doors to the TV and film industry for underrepresented storytellers.
