Margie Martinez is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Community Health Alliance of Pasadena (ChapCare), a nonprofit whose mission is to provide high-quality, accessible, and culturally sensitive health care and related services in an environment of care and mutual respect in the greater Pasadena area. In 2023, ChapCare was acquired by AltaMed. For her Stanton project, Margie examined the impact that telehealth and telemedicine could have in providing uninsured and underinsured patients in urban communities with better access to primary and specialty care.
