Steve LePore is the former Executive Director of 1in6, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping men who have experienced unwanted or abusive sexual experiences in childhood live healthier, happier lives. The project goal for his Stanton Fellowship was to research the strategies used to effectively address other taboo and difficult social issues—such as domestic violence—in order to glean how best to overcome social barriers and bring needed services to the community.
